After reinstalling, now it freezes constantly, even when not in use. Roughly every 5 seconds, the window freezes, grays out, and gives a "not responding" message--just as before. But it happens constantly without me even doing anything in Outlook now.

Although it's not possible at the moment to turn guide to repair Outlook problems the feature off entirely, you can choose to remove it from your favorites list by right clicking the folder and selecting Remove from Favorites. To help you get rid of these duplicates, we have released a fix which will automatically clean up your contact list. This fix will clean up duplicate contacts for end users starting August 9, 2023. If it does, the problem is definitely in your antivirus software. In this case, you can either contact its vendor for assistance or simply choose another protection program. If you close outlook(make sure its not in the system tray) then click on start and type Domain, then find Access work or school. I'm having an issue with one Outlook 365, the program open and get stuck at loading the user profile, any profiles. I decided to try and fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling. I also removed some old add-ins and an old, inactive account (but Outlook worked no problem with these for a long time).

Outlook.com (the web version of Outlook) and Outlook apps require a 1st party alias (Outlook/Hotmail/Live/MSN) to send and receive email, use calendar, etc. Until you can install the Windows Update fix release, you can set a registry key that will cause Outlook to stop using the local Windows Search service. When this registry key is set, Outlook will use its own built-in search engine. The built-in search will display the message below to indicate it is not using the Windows Search service. We're investigating the issue and will update this page when a fix is available. If you're using Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016, uninstall and re-install iCloud to resolve this issue. This issue affects all Outlook versions on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10. A lot of times, a user will click on something by accident and change their view and be unsure of how to get it back. If anyone finds a more permanent solution, I would appreciate it. It seems like something went wrong on Microsoft update and they might recall it or fix it, so we might need to wait untill that.

To start Outlook in safe mode, click on its icon holding the Ctrl key, or enter outlook.exe /safe in the Run dialog box. You'll see a message asking you to confirm that you really want to start Outlook in Safe mode, click Yes. If everything is working correctly, you can now delete the old profile. I have found that when this happens its due to the Account in windows needing to be updated.
